Surly Straggler - $1,200 (Moorhead)

I’m selling a 54 cm, custom Surly Straggler with disc brakes. It’s been made into a single-speed, has a vegan Brooks saddle, and bamboo fenders. One fender is cracked. The bike just had a professional overhaul/tune up within the last few months, with brand new Gravel King SK plus tires added. It’s mostly been my gravel road and winter bike, and I’m only selling because I have a road bike that I’d like to be riding more often, as I’m training for a century, and I’d rather see someone else enjoying this, than walking by it in storage. This bike has only been owned by me; I ordered it brand new a few years back and always put the highest quality parts on it when I bring it in. It just got a new chain, pedals, tires that are nearly impossible to destruct, and an Iberra pannier rack within the last two months. I’m firm on the price, after factoring in upgrades, ongoing, regular maintenance, as well as the lasting quality of the steel chromoly frames that make up Surly bikes, and feel that I’ve landed on a price that’s more than reasonable, while also factoring in depreciation through previous use from riding through winter, and swapping to a single speed. There are massive benefits to having a single speed with disc brakes for winter riding though, and this is a fun bike to use during our snowy season!
