These still works to keep around your place to use. I put it in my garage when I moved last year and I hooked it up to test it out, just to make sure that it did still work. It does still play, but the 45 record holder doesn't automatically drop the record, the cobra arm raised but does not turn over sometimes, and other times when it does it turns over to play, but drops like there is a 33 record and not a 45. When the records play it does not turn in a perfect circle and has a little movement for the holder part left and right it looks. The record plays on some of it, but when it starts the record when it is still far out on the record, it jumps songs a little, but when it gets closer to the middle it plays pretty good. There is probably an easy way to correct it, but I am not sure how that is done. This is still a very neat vintage record player to collect.
