The primary responsibility of this position is to provide superior food and beverage customer service to Catering by Concordia guests through set, serve, and clean-up of catered functions both on and off-campus. Responsibilities are shaped largely by the requirements of each unique event. This includes setting up catered events including setting tables with dishes, flatware, glasses, etc., setting up dishing and/or buffet lines, serving meals, tearing down including dishwashing. It is also responsible for food safety and sanitation and the overall satisfaction of Concordia College guests. Significant face-to-face customer interaction with exemplary service is required with strong attention to detail, and ability to work a flexible schedule.
General Work Schedule:
Varies significantly based on event schedule, significant weekend work, including summer weekends. Generally 35-40 hours per week Mid-Aug to Mid-May, 25-30 hours per week in the summer. Average of 36 hours per week.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
6 months-1 year related experience in catering or customer service;
ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate, or pass ServSafe exam within the first year of employment
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving
