I have hundreds of old empty food service tin cans that I believe contained tomato ketchup.
I'm guessing they are similar to or the same as coffee cans.
These cans are real old and real heavy duty.
They have been stored inside of a building.
6 cans per cardboard case.
Roughly 500 to 1,000 cans.
Roughly 50 to 60 years old.
----------------------------------------
I haven't looked inside of all the cases but of what I've seen:
The can labels are removed.
The cans have been rinsed out.
Some cans have dents.
Some cases have 5 cans in them.
----------------------------------------
The seam on the cans is probably soldered or welded. If it's soldered does the solder contain lead? I don't know. I haven't tested the seams for lead. If it does contain lead then they shouldn't be used for animal feeding or watering.
----------------------------------------
Outside tin can measurements:
About 6 15/16 inches tall.
About 6 3/16 inches across bottom.
Outside cardboard case measurements:
About 7 5/16 inches tall.
About 12 9/16 inches deep.
About 18 13/16 inches wide.
----------------------------------------
Some of what the case says,
"Standby
THE FAMOUS "PICKED FOR FLAVOR" LINE
6 B-2 NO. 10 CANS
PACKED FOR FINE FOODS, INC, SEATTLE, WN., MINNEAPOLIS, MINN."
----------------------------------------
It doesn't matter if you buy 1 can, 50 cans, etc.
There's no minimum quantity limit.
These cans should not be used for food or water for humans or animals.
These cans are sold as is.
I'm open to offers.
