Hey Folks! Here's a wonderful LONG LIVED and FAST GROWING tree to add to your homestead! The NATIVE COTTONLESS COTTONWOODS!!!!!

Back about 125 years ago our forefathers planted these grand trees on every homestead, farm, ranch…..even in town…..but sadly enough (now 125 years later) they are beginning to disappear off our landscape as they reach they're maturity. EVERYONE has seen these trees just about every place you go in our tri-state area, as these are the giant trees you can clearly see from great distances, and were the MAIN TREES that everyone used in their windbreaks, shelterbelt, privacy and property boarders. I can't EVEN tell you just how many of my tree clients have come to our nursery (super sad by-the-way), that these trees planted on their current homestead were gradually growing old after 125 years and were in need of replacement. I tell my clients the same thing I'm am telling you now…..DO NOT FEAR, THE DAISY GIRL IS HERE (!) and I HAVE RAISE THESE NATIVE COTTONWOODS and sell them CHEAP as potted trees!!! These trees ARE NOT HYBRIDS either…..they are the TRUE NATURALLY GROWN COTTONWOODS! AND…..the beauty of these Cottonwoods that I'm selling here is THEY ARE ALL COTTONLESS!!! YES…..COTTON-LESS! What makes them cottonless is they are all MALE TREES, and it is only the female tree of this species that has the cotton. So there you have it! An EXTREMELY beautiful tree for you to replace the ones your loosing (or have already lost) at your place. They are VERY fast growing, and will quickly grow into the giant trees we all know and dearly love!

I have these lovely trees available NOW for $40 each or 5 for $185. They are currently in that 2 to 3 foot size, growing like crazy and are well rooted potted trees….ready to plant/grow on your property!
I also have these same trees available in larger 3 to 4 foot size for$60 each or 5 for $285

HERE'S A LITTLE MORE INFO ON THIS INCREDIABLE TREE!
(Male) Cottonwood: If you are in need of shade trees that can adapt to a variety of normally adverse conditions, and would love your shade tree to become a GIANT grand tree FAST> the Cottonwood is your tree! These trees are male tree, so no cotton from this one for sure! They have an almost heart shaped leaf that turn a gorgeous golden yellow in the fall> VERY attractive! I have SEVERAL of these gorgeous trees planted in our own yard and I absolutely LOVE them. They are the #1 tree in our yard for Baltimore Oriole nesting! They are hands down the biggest trees on the place and defiantly the grandest! They grow VERY FAST and you will have a big tree in no time at all. This tree will reach an astounding height of up to 100 feet and a crown of up to 75 feet wide. The growth habit is upright and narrow when young but forms an open crown with age, which is wonderful for planting other stuff under and near it. This is also a zone 2 tree, and is extremely hardy for OUR area... yay! As far as the growing conditions of this tree, the most favorable soils are loams to sands, and loves low, moist areas, as well as full sun. It also can grow well on upland sites with a high water table. This tree is often used along rivers and parks to help prevent erosion and for beauty, as well as windbreak/shelter belt areas. Like it's cousin (the fast grow poplar), this beautiful tree has a good tolerance to the alkaline soils that we see in our area (including where I personally live and way into the North Dakota/South Dakota areas), this is one versatile tree for sure! It is long lived (typically 100+ years old, but can live from 200 to 400 years old with good a growing environment). Right here at our nursery/yard we have these gentle giants that I would guess are over 200 years old, with trunk bases that three people cannot rap their hands around. They LOVE our soils and truly are a tough and hardy native zone 2 tree!
